Friends of Speedy TV challenge - Card with movement

The Friends of Speedy TV challenge this week is make a card with a moving part, join us here for a chance to win a stamp set: http://www.mfpspeedytv.ning.com/.
I admit I was intimidated by this challenge, making a card that moves seemed beyond me. I had seen the penny slider technique and looked it up on the internet to find the steps.

Cut out a slot in your paper to fit your rolling object. Apply a foam dot (I cut my own from foam tape, looks bad, but it does roll!) to a penny and put in slot, attach other penny and test.

Add your image with foam tape.

Apply two layers of foam tape to the back of the slider, being careful not to interfere with the rolling pennies.

I'm so pleased with how this turned out, the Mark's Finest Papers 'Rain Clouds' stamp set was perfect for my project, although my umbrella doesn't usually blow away, it just blows inside out!!
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers - Rain Clouds stamp set
Accessories: embossing folders, Taylored Expressions lace border die, copic markers, 2 pennies, foam tape, label punch

I had to get creative with this challenge as I don't have any St Patty's stamps!! I created my own clover by cutting out 4 heart dies using a My Favorite Things heart die and added a happy sentiment from the Mark's Finest Papers 'Welcome Poppies' set. Diamond Glaze was added to the clover petals for dimension.
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers - Welcome Poppies (sentiment)
Accessories: My Favorite Things heart die, embossing folder, satin ribbon, Spellbinder oval and scalloped oval dies, foam tape, Diamond Glaze.
Paper: Mark's Finest Papers, My Mind's Eye.

I was really excited to see this beautiful aqua color, one of my favorites in the inspiration photo and I thought this Mark's Finest Papers hummingbird would go perfectly. I heat embossed the image and colored with Stampin Up Pool Party and Lucky Limeade reinkers on a palette, applied with a water pen. I layered the bird on Spellbinder dies and added an embellishment of a My Favorite Things leafy florish die, twine bow, and My Favorite Things flower die.

Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers - Hum Along
Accessories - My Favorite Things leafy flourish and flower dies, embossing folders, Spellbinder dies, jewel stickers, Cheery Lynn Lace border die, twine, heat embossing, SU reinkers
Thanks for taking a look!! DJ
